We are looking for an accomplished Real Estate Partner to bring depth to our Landlord and Tenant work, providing strategic advice to clients and helping us stand out as a leading firm in this niche.
As a Real Estate Partner specialising in Landlord and Tenant work, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through complex property matters. You’ll work closely with an established team to serve our robust client base while also spearheading growth initiatives to attract new clients and expand our influence in the market. Your technical expertise and deep knowledge of UK property law will be key to advising landlords, tenants, and developers, while your interest in legal technology will help keep us at the forefront of innovation in service delivery.
Key accountabilities
Technical leadership:
- Lead high-value and complex Landlord and Tenant matters, offering sophisticated advice on leases, rent reviews, dilapidations, renewals, and landlord-tenant disputes.
Client development:
- Proactively drive client engagement efforts by leveraging your existing relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and strengthening our position within the real estate sector.
Strategic growth:
- Collaborate with firm leadership to shape and execute strategies for building the Landlord and Tenant practice area, enhancing brand presence, and achieving growth targets.
Innovation focus:
- Embrace and explore legal technology advancements that can streamline client services and bring efficiency to traditional practices. Your enthusiasm for Legal Tech will support our goal of providing innovative, competitive solutions.
Mentorship:
- Guide and develop junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and fostering a collaborative culture within the practice.
About you
Experienced planner: At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in planning law within a reputable UK law firm.
Technical skills: Proven expertise in complex planning matters, with a solid track record in handling agreements, negotiations, and planning applications.
Client focused: Ability to deliver exceptional client service, building trusted relationships with clients and maintaining a commercial, client-centric approach.
Innovative and tech-savvy: A genuine interest in leveraging legal technology to enhance service delivery and improve efficiency.
