Role Overview

We are looking for someone to join our People team to help us to deliver our strategic aims surrounding career progression, learning and excellence. 

The successful candidate will lead all organisational development programmes to drive and embed our desired culture and develop our people.  As well as designing and implementing business-focused learning programmes, the role will also support the focus on our high-performing team strategy and the development of our future leaders.  We are looking for an individual who is able to bring new ideas and innovation to our people with experience in influencing and managing key stakeholders to ensure the effective and timely delivery of development programmes.

The role will have a highly consultative focus on managing multiple projects across different business areas. 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Develop, manage and implement a wide range of learning and development projects.
  • Design learning programmes for all business functions, using a blended learning approach.
  • Working in consultation with subject matter experts and/or programme sponsors.
  • Sourcing and building relationships with appropriate external partners for expert-level training, and developing learning programmes with those suppliers.
  • Identifying future leaders in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • Project managing the implementation of learning into the business, and ensuring the learning has the necessary steps in place both before and following the programme, to enable return on investment.
  • Providing executive coaching with individuals and groups to facilitate growth and development.
  • Working with our marketing department to share internal communications and publicity for various learning initiatives.
  • Analyse and react to programme feedback and account for it in the continuous improvement and design of future programmes.
  • Work with our People Team to ensure our onboarding process is appropriate from a training perspective.
  • Supporting individuals with their training plans and ambitions for promotion.
  • Managing employee CDP records and trainee training requirements.
  • Ensuring all staff undertake mandatory compliance training and deliver such training in an effective and creative manner.
  • Maintain an external focus to ensure emerging perspectives are considered and incorporated in order to share progressive and innovative solutions.

Minimum Skills & Experience:

  • Degree-level education and a keen interest in people and their development.
  • Experience in professional services learning and development role.
  • Experience in working independently towards strategic goals.
  • Strong instructional design experience and a strong ability to influence and engage at senior levels.
  • Experience with learning technologies including eLearning and virtual classrooms.
  • Excellent influencing, communication, and personal impact skills that will ensure success and command instant credibility at all levels of the firm.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities, with good attention to detail and the ability to create compelling learning solutions.
