Formerly part of Clifford Chance’s real estate team, Jonathan Geen has extensive experience in project and development-related finance.
Jonathan recently concluded a multi-phase £400m development facility which has underpinned the hugely successful Central Square development in Cardiff city centre, Wales’s largest urban regeneration project.
He has also structured and executed two prominent housing bonds in London, addressing homelessness in the City and the funding of a major, local school development project in Zone 1.
His innovative approach has seen him win multiple awards and he is increasingly involved in a number of cross-border financing projects.
Jonathan is a multi-award-winning lawyer with over 20 years of experience in real estate projects, funding, and structuring. Selected for The Legal 500 Hall of Fame for the consistently excellent client feedback he gets and ranked by Chambers & Partners as a leading individual, Jonathan has worked on many landmark projects of national significance.
He has twice been voted by peers as Wales’ top real estate lawyer and his team has been Real Estate Law Firm of the Year for the last three years in succession.
