Natalie trained and qualified at Acuity and is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer. Natalie spent some time working in a Top 10 UK law firm as a specialist corporate lawyer and returned to Acuity in August 2019.

Natalie has strong technical and project management skills and advises clients on complex transactions and commercial arrangements. She has advised on a wide range of high-profile transactions and projects for both public and private companies including, acquisitions, mergers, fundraisings, joint ventures, developments and commercial frameworks often with a cross-border aspect.

Natalie has particular experience in the energy sector and has advised a variety of different industry participants in that sector, including project developers, technology providers, O&M providers and investors (including consortiums, individuals and funds) and brings particular insight through her secondment with energy client Eco2 Limited.

  • Corporate deals and transactions – mergers, acquisitions and disposals
  • Private equity funded transactions and equity arrangements
  • Corporate restructuring and reorganisations
  • Commercial contracts, including, assignment and licensing of intellectual property rights, SaaS arrangements, development agreements, distribution agreements outsourcing arrangements and manufacturing agreements between the private and public sectors
  • Advising and assisting Eco2 Limited on a series of developments in the clean energy sector, including three biomass power station projects involving £100+ financings.
  • Advising FTSE listed Capita Group on its acquisition program, completing multiple transactions in the £5 million to £30 million range.
  • Acting for healthcare staffing provider Independent Clinical Services in its acquisition of ProClinical Limited, a leading recruitment agency in the pharma and life sciences sector with subsidiaries in the US, Germany, Switzerland and Singapore
  • Advising Wales Environmental Limited on a series of strategic acquisitions, which involved the provision of debt and equity funding
  • Providing on-going commercial legal advice to various subscribers to Acuity Counsel. This involves reviewing, advising on and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements including agreements for services, framework agreements, management services agreement, operation and maintenance agreements and terms and conditions of sale
  • Advising on the acquisition by Neptune 6 of the shares in Newport Wafer Fab (NWF) from Infineon AG, and the associated commercial and finance arrangements
  • Advising a national housing association on a joint venture with a modular housing business and reviewing and advising on the terms of the associated supply and manufacturing arrangements
